When i decided to be hostess i knew many were leery due to past experiences and i did all i could to make sure all involved had a positive experience. Well i think all has gone rather well i even had one individual not in the group who wanted to get involved so a friend of mine offered to swap with her and this is how that part of it all turned out.. both are new to the wire work btw...:)

Dragon Of Spring

This is a very substancial neck piece created with copper. the focal stone is carnilian with a lovely dragon it is wire wrapped with some tanzanite all around it and a tiny swarovski crystal of the coolest orangy color, porcelain roses on the frame as well as bali beads and center focals of faceted labrodorite and faceted amethyst. This is in my private collection lol.

This is a lovely quartz crystal with sunstone and opalite focals and amethyst going all around the bail, weaved in sterling silver

Yes it was intentional to put it off center lol lovely copper is the frame for this fun and funky circular wrap with lovely accents of opalite and tanzanite.

this circle is created with sterling silver and wrapped with more ss and lovely glass beads. The focal is rhodonite( i am not sure it is but that is what is supposed to be) with hematite accents

a fun and funky copper piece with a yellow jade focal.:)

Isnt this the coolest malacite.. coming or going it has the coolest patterning. sterling silver and a awesome fluorite accent.

The first wand in this set is pretty awesome dunno if u can see all the detail in the wood but it has some age about it i so love....the second on as well the third one i created with a weed stem and it has a birds head with a small crystal in the beak... fun!

Love the character of the wood in both of these i wish i could find such cool branches here lol...

I named this piece eye of the tiger for the lovely tigers eye which is the focal.. other than that it is created of a fun weaved copper band.

This piece seemed to have a mind of its own... if i tried to add stones it didnt want in it my wire would get mangled up and i had to use a new piece lol... it for some reason didn't want amethyst in any form for certain lol....

I used brass and copper wire on this with a focal tear drop shaped cab of rosequartz, accents of labradorite, garnet, and pearl. It is a two sided pendant it looks cool either direction lol.

The reason i named it love drop is because just like the mustard grain of faith thing it just takes one drop of love to make unlimited difference.

I created this special for Dani for hosting the wire wrap swap. So i call it Dani'sSeaprise lol...:)

i created it with copper wire and chain with a focal of blue gold stone accents of fw pearl, copper bali bead and jasper fetish.. looks good coming or going eh? lol

Trinity pendant tutorial

With about 5 and a half inches of 14-18 gauge wire i make the following shape.

I pound it out and texture it with my hammer.

Notice the hole in the center this is where i add a bali bead cap with a stone i have used either predrilled stones or not.

If i used a predrilled stone I will thread 22 gauge wire through it pull both ends back and through the bead cap then through the hole in the pendant and then use a small glass bead that i threaded the wire through on both sides. Notice the following pic minus the pendant in the next to last step. of this part.

If I am using just a regular stone I will take 5 inches of 22 gauge wire fold and half and coil and bend like this.

And again i add the glass bead as before then take each end and wrap it around my pendant a few times tightly. This can be made more elaborate in the back with more beads going around ect. If u solder u could solder the bali bead to the pendant and skip the glass bead. I think the bead just adds a bit more elegance.:)

the stone will stay in place by you folding the bali bead in slightly at the petals.

Rainbow Splendour this was my first brass free form wirewrap and when i finished i wasnt sure if i liked it .. but it has grown on me besides it has a gorgeous fluorite focal.. and some sweet tanzanite and amethyst accents. It isnt crooked on the top i twisted the weave on it there. It actually looks pretty cool lol..

Pride of the peacock this is how i stared with free form wrap on Mexican peacock ore. Ah it is so pretty isnt it?! It has fresh water pearl and labradorite accents I changed a couple of things as u will see below...

here u can see i altered the weave a wee bit and added chain lol.. and chipped out a piece so u could see another color in the stone... fast becoming a fav might have to do a ring with it lol.

Dragon spirit this one i did with labradorite accents on copper hand crafted toggle with bali beads. I so love this one lol...
Guardian bear this sweet bear fetish is the focal accent along with copper, amethyst and shell, hand crafted clasp.
The mystic dontcha love the brass copper combo on this with quartz point accent, shell, and goldstone, and a brass handcrafted clasp with copper accent.

Tribal flow this one has a handcrafted clasp, copper with accents of tribal bead and turquoise.

Trinity I call this piece Trinity cuz it has three diffrent types of metal in it... copper, brass and sterling silver. The dangles are made with some copper bali beads, fresh water pearls, garnet and some sweet labradorite cubes i found at an area rock shop.
Seabloom ah this piece is simple but fun fun... i found the shells at an area bead store the owner hated them saying the holes on them were not good for design.. a challenge lol... so she gave em to me for 50 cents for all of them lol. Can u say a steal! ;). I just did a simple double loop and the sweet lil accent is a paisley charm.:)

I took a bit of a risk with this piece with the bold focal rodonite with a center garnet and bali accents. The center strand is a wrapped wire with a wirewrapped bead dangling another sweet rodonite and garnet with bali accents. The clasp as well is special with a wirewrapped bead and bali accents. And lets not forget the antiqued copper chain. This piece is definitely for the bold woman and the strong of neck lol.

One of my first free form designs i could have added a lot more but i loved the airy feel of this sterling weave with a gorgeous apophyllite and amethyst focal and accents of sunstone and garnet.

This pendant is an arrowhead accented with sterling wire with a simple leather cord with a twist. Notice the leather is part of the clasp the other end has some sweet shell, turquoise and cube labrodorite accents.

Hope and Innocence

I named this pendant Hope.. something this world needs more of at times... something that keeps us going The focal stone on this one is a dark goldstone that is wrapped in sterling silver with sterling chain accent and pearl and tanzanite accents.

Innocence yet another thing not so vast in the world anymore... not lost in the ability to laugh. This focal stone is really sweet it is called purple sage agate it is wrapped in sterling wire and accented by a lovely opalite.

Cosmic flow- I really love this ring it is made with a sterling silver base and has a rather large garnet focal stone which is so dark its almost black, the accents are fresh water pearl and tanzanite.

Spring Treasures-The focal bead is a carved cocoa shell, with my fav copper ofcourse.:)antiqued copper balls circle it with accents of tanzanite,the bottom is bali beads and a glass bead with a copper weave.
Vintange Lady- this is a free form copper piece with a center china glass bead accented on one side by beautiful opalite "flowers"facted beads peaking out of bali bead caps, the other side is accented by some vibrant labradorite chips with tons of fire accented by tiny copper balls, at the bottom is the end has a fresh water pearl, bali bead and garnet bead accent to finish this piece with class.:)
Spirit of the Bear- This pendant i created with sterling silver wire copper bali bead accents with some sweet lil tanzanite beads acting and flower centers, there is also a jasper bear fetish bead, a larger piece of flint which acts as the "mountain"and a leaf bone bead to add more of that nature element.

If any one might know what this is i would most appreciate it... as u can see it has pinkish purple stone cubes inside of it.
no they are not transparent at all. the matrix for the most part is pretty soft... all u need to is hit lightly with a hammer to make it loose enough to remove the cubed stones. I do like it alot and feel i am gonna have some fun with it.:)

Time to get educated about stones!:) I have loved em my whole life just not familiar with a lot of them.

Dragoness:This One i did for me. It wasnt intentional but finishing the weave i just fell in love with. This is a 4-1 chainmaille weave in copper with a hand crafted toggle clasp with accents of labrodorite and tanzanite beads. I named it dragoness as i am one who favors dragons greatly sweet bracelet for any dragoness eh?;)

This bracelet is created in 3 sections the front which is centered by a copper and sterling silver bead with labrodorite and copper bali bead accents with a wavy copper wire weave around them all then the sides have more labrodorite, and copper and bali beads finishing it off with a lobster clasp. click on the images for a larger view. Winter Delight: This is my second ring... it is created with pounded copper a turquoise focal bead with wirewrap accented with copper accent beads and garnet beads. I took a lot of pics of this one cuz in a creative group i am part of we have been discussing photography and where to do it and how. I thought i would try the snow and it seemed to have created a nice spot just to place my ring lol. Gotta love the shimmer in the snow eh? :)

I am creating a necklace around the one with the moonstone one. I will post it when it is done.

Soaring high i created this one with a large turquoise focal bead accented by turquoise chips and copper beads as well as wirewrapped leafs.

Trinity this is a pendant i created with copper wire i shaped and pounded gluing in a bead cap and adding a sunstone to the center.

I am debating building a necklace around this or just letting the pendants stand on there own...:)

this is my latest necklace :

The pendant is a jade cabachone with a sterling silver wrap the dangle off the end of it is clay enameled beads with a white fresh water pearl accent. The chain is centered with a silver weaved section and has more of the same dangle accents along with silver chain and silver hand created clasp. This is my first weave of this sort.:) as well as my first wirewrap with silver wire. Gold next eh? ;)
